Poland to Move Forward with $9.6 Billion Airport Plans

By 2027, Poland will have realized its plans for a national airport – a project to the tune of 35 billion zloty (about $9.6 billion). The airport, which is slated to be located in between Lodz and Warsaw, will have the potential of serving up to 100 million annual flyers. According to the Polish government, annual air traffic could reach as much as 94 million by 2035.
