CDG T2E Arrivals Meeting Point Needed Inside Frontier

Hello, Flyers -

We are traveling to France next week with our disabled son. We are traveling via BOS (DL 118), and our son's aide is flying direct from RDU (DL 230). We are scheduled to arrive within 15 min of each other, and all at 2E, but probably not the same hall.

We want to have the aide's help as we go through Passport Control and Customs, so we need a meeting point within the secure area - the "designated" meeting points are all post-customs.

I have never been to 2E (and haven't been to CDG at all since 1998), so I don't know how arriving passengers' movement is controlled, and the official terminal maps are unhelpful.

What do you CDG experts recommend?

Thanks for your help!

Welcome to Cpi-Web
You will both arrive in 2E but not necessarily in the same concourse (K, L or M gates) and this is impossible to know in advance. The best is to meet at the convergence point, which will be the immigration hall. You will have both to go through this and so you can meet there (before clearing immigration).

You should have a backup plan in place. One of your flights might be delayed, maybe for many hours, and you need to be able to handle that situation.
